What standard Claude produces
Standard Claude produces a competent diagnostic. It identifies that adoption is blocked, offers reasonable advice about communications and sponsorship, and recommends ‘more transparency around the restructure-to-AI connection.’ It correctly flags the compliance incident as a trust issue.
What it does not do: distinguish Existential Friction from Trust Friction from Verification Friction. Treat them as separate problems with separate interventions. Surface Concentrated Desire Resistance as the structural pattern producing the slow adoption. It bundles the people-side dynamics into ‘change resistance’ and recommends addressing it with familiar tools.
A change manager would receive helpful advice. They would still have to do the work of segmenting the Friction profile, designing the trust calibration training, building the metrics framework, and writing the manager coaching scripts themselves. The 30-day Executive Committee deadline does not get easier.
What the Playbook produces
