- Confirm your Claude account is active — log in at claude.ai and verify you can start a new conversation.
- Check the file was uploaded correctly — go to Settings → Capabilities → Skills in your Claude account and confirm the skill is listed and toggled on.
- Start a new conversation — sometimes context from a previous chat can interfere. Open a fresh chat.
- Try the command again — copy the exact command from the quick-start guide and paste it in.
- Check your usage limits — if you’re on Claude’s free tier, you may have hit a daily limit. Claude Pro provides higher limits.
